
Martin Segal
Founder & CEO, B&D Holdings
Martin Segal is the Founder and CEO of B&D Holdings. Over two decades, he has built the firm's 230+ investment, $1B+ portfolio into a vertically integrated industrial real estate platform specializing in Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS) assets across the United States. He also serves as Chairman of BD Capital, the private lending arm of the Segal Family Office.
Martin joined Bradco Supply, the family-founded building supply business, after graduating from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2004, first as Vice President of Operations and later as Vice President of Acquisitions, where he negotiated multiple acquisitions before the company was sold in 2008 as one of the nation's largest commercial and residential building materials distributors with 150 branches. In 2010, Martin took over management of B&D Holdings and joined the Segal Family Foundation full-time as Managing Director, where he now serves as Chairman of the Board, managing the endowment and leading its impact investing strategy across Sub-Saharan Africa.
